Marketing Plans

There are lots of marketing plan templates you can download from the Internet.

They will tell you that your marketing plan is a component of your company’s overall business plan and should lay out the strategies and tactics to sell the company’s products and services to your target markets.

So far, so good.  Where I can make a difference is in helping you to evaluate the marketplace (this could involve original or secondary research), and then recommend the communications channels to reach your customers – advertising, PR, the Internet, trade shows, etc.  I have years of experience in managing the marketing and communications programs for leading companies so I have a pretty good idea of what works and doesn’t work.

We start with a conversation to find out what you want to achieve.  Then I come back with an outline of the plan.  By the way, the final plan doesn’t have to be the size of the Bible.  Particularly if you’re a smaller company, it can be done in a few pages.
