A Holiday Wish for More Prosperity and Peace in the World

My best wishes to you for a joyous and happy holiday with your family and loved ones. Many people around the world are not as fortunate as we are. Millions are caught in the crossfire of deadly conflicts or will go to sleep once again hungry and without roofs over their heads. So my most fervent wish this holiday season is for more joy and prosperity for those in need and peace in the world.

See you back here in 2013.

    • Brian, I’m glad to learn that you are so optimistic about 2013. It’s a great way to start the year – full of hope.

  1. Thank you Jeannette, My heart aches for those less fortunate. I wish you and your family the very best this Holiday season and I’ll see you in 2013. 🙂

  2. Seasons Greetings to all of you!

We should count ourselves lucky that we were not born poor in the wrong part of the world. Imagine what life would be like in a refugee camp:-)

    • Catarina — I couldn’t agree more. Hope hopeless life must seem to those in refugee camps without proper food and shelter. I say, count your blessings!

  3. It’s interesting to me. I’d bet those less fortunate don’t usually acknowledge that they are that. I’d bet, they are thankful everyday for what they already have. And many who are fortunate, might not be able to express their gratitude. I’m wishing and praying for more joy and prosperity for everyone, fortunate or not.

Thanks for all your wisdom through the year Jeannette.

    • Patricia — Thanks, Pat. And thanks for following my posts. When you think how grateful people are who have so much less than we do, you realize that adding another trinket to your collectibles or buying another dress is so unimportant.

  4. Thank you Jeannette. I do hope this year is a turn in the direction of really caring and helping one another out on a daily basis. Happy New Year!

    • Bea — I’d expect your comment, because I know you live the life you’re suggesting: to help others on a daily basis. I can say that from the experience of working with you. So Happy New Year and best wishes to you, too, in 2013!
