How to Connect with Write Speak Sell

Social media has grown so fast over the past couple of years that I often wish everything would stop for six months so I could catch up.  Do you sometimes feel that way, too?  In my blog, I try to keep up with developments and share what I’ve learned with you, my valued readers.

There are a number of ways you can access my content – and, if you’re not a subscriber already, I hope you will become one if you enjoy what you’re reading here. I’d also love to get your feedback on topics you’d like me to write about and how I can keep improving this blog.

Keeping Up With my Blog

Write Speak Sell is actually built on the WordPress content management platform – so it serves as my website and the place where I post my articles, or blog posts. So, when I say I’m writing a blog, I really mean an article. Bloggers are just article writers – no big deal!

There are a number of ways to follow my blog/website/posts:

  • Email updates. You can subscribe and receive new articles by email. Just fill in the subscription box at the right.
  •

  • RSS Feed. You are no doubt familiar with the orange RSS icon. It’s the one on the far right under “Connect with Jeannette.” If you click on that you will see this screen that gives you the option of subscribing and being notified of updates on aggregators like your Google Reader or Google Home Page. You can always change it to another reader. This way you can see all of your news feeds together at a time of your choosing. Of course, you need to have an account with one of these sites.
  •

  • Bookmark it. If you want to read my posts on your schedule you can simply bookmark Write Speak Sell.
  •

  • Social Bookmarking – Increasingly readers are tracking their favorite bloggers on popular social bookmarking sites such as Delicious and StumbleUpon. You’ll notice at the side of every blog post there is a “traveling” vertical display of various social media sites like Digg, LinkedIn, and Twitter. (I’d love it if you’d click on these to RT and post to these sites for others to read my articles.) Next to the bottom is an icon “Save.” If you click on that you can save my blogs to Delicious and find them later. But you also help spread the news about Write Speak Sell which helps to attract more readers.

Your Feedback, Please

I’d love to hear from you in the comments section. Let me know the topics that interest you and what I can do to improve this site. Thank you!

  1. What would I like to know? I’d like to know off the radar, little known things, that others might not be talking about. On the big stuff there is plenty. On the little stuff, not so much. For example http://speakergram.com/ – don’t recall how I heard about it but it’s for speakers and event planners to connect. There’s likely a lot you have already to share! Thanks for asking.

  2. Jeannette,

I don’t like to use cliches (I’m lying, of course), but you really hit the nail on the head with this post. I would kill to have a 6 month time out, or even a 1 week time out. Everything is moving so fast it is maddening to try to keep up. You were so nice to come over and visit my blog today. It has been ages since I popped in to see what you were up to. I am sorry about that. I am pleased to see that it seem to be moving along nicely. I agree with Patricia Weber, I think an article about SpeakerGram would be cool. I have never heard of them and I am especially keen in (I hate to say it) trying to keep up.

    • Brian — thanks for stopping by and commenting. Ah, wishful thinking about everything stopping so we can have a breather. Not likely. But we can dream, can’t we?
