LinkedIn made it official this week that companies can now post breaking news about the company, employee moves, relevant job opportunities or the latest on their products and services including multimedia content on their company pages. These updates will go directly into the home page feed of their followers.

Increasingly, LinkedIn is adding the sharing features that resemble Facebook’s, except that LinkedIn is staking out its niche as the business social network. That’s especially good news for B2B companies and organizations that serve them.
