Several years ago I had a life changing experience. I took a blogging course. I didn’t know at the time that it would lead to my passion for social media.
Now I’m helping companies to leverage social media to burnish their brands, increase their revenue, and engage their employees as brand advocates. I can help you to incorporate social media into your marketing plan to strategically reach customers, employees and other target audiences.

I love these new communication channels. It’s amazing to me how much has changed.
Companies are mounting major marketing campaigns on Facebook and Google+.
Professionals are connecting on LinkedIn, and companies are tapping into its job board to find great candidates. A speciality of mine is helping LinkedIn members write their LinkedIn Professional Headlines and Summaries to reflect their personal brands.
Twitter is a swift current of breaking news where you can make connections and join in discussions.
As a blogger, I believe that a blog provides the opportunity for both large and small organizations to tell their stories – unfiltered by the media outlets that write about their companies, their products and services. Your blogs become an archive of your intellectual capital.
I began my career as a business reporter. This experience has enabled me to grasp complex topics quickly and simplify them in the conversational writing style of the Internet.

My blog offers my points of view on current topics in the news, and how companies are using social media to enhance their brands and build relationships with customers and employees. I try to provoke reader comments.
That’s the purpose of social media –- to engage your clients and prospects. I have written and published close to 500 blog posts on Write Speak Sell and written guest blogs for BloombergBusinessweek, Denise Wakeman’s “Build a Better Blog,” American Express OPEN Forum, and Danny Iny’s “Firepole Marketing,” among others.
My experience is primarily in services: professional services firms, financial institutions and nonprofits.
